By: Samantha Collins

It’s autumn in the Valley, and that means it’s festival season! From food to culture, October kicks off with some of the best, including the AZ Mariachi & Folklorico Festival! CALLE (Culture, Art, Leadership, Legacy, Education) is an organization that supports the local Hispanic community in the east Valley, and they’ll be sponsoring this cultural extravaganza that will bring you highlights of traditional Mexican music and dance. Performers will include Grammy Award-winning group Mariachi Los Camperos de Nati Cano, Mariachi Sonido de Mexico from Tucson, and an amazing collection of dance companies from Ballet Folklorico Quetzalli-AZ and Rascapetatiando Dance Company. It’s going to be an amazing celebration of some of Mexico’s finest traditional arts, so don’t miss it!
