By Francisco Romero. – The Phoenix Suns improved to 11-8 on the season after beating the Pacers 116-99 at US Airways Center.

The Suns are 6-3 in their last nine games.

Suns’ shooting guard Goran Dragic finished the game with 34 points, Eric Bledsoe added 27 points; they combined for 61 points, 10 assists, eight rebounds, eight steals and just five turnovers.

Dragic finished the first half with 22 points.

“The rim looked bigger and bigger every time when I took a shot, it’s just one of those nights, that you can make a lot of shots,” said Dragic after the game.

Phoenix entered the game in a must win situation.  The Suns had lost their last two games in a row to Denver and Orlando.

“I thought our guys did a great job of pushing the ball,” Suns head coach Jeff Hornacek after the game.

For Indiana C.J. Miles scored 17 points and Roy Hibbert added 15 points and grabbed 10 rebounds.

Once again the Suns played without Isaiah Thomas who has an injured ankle.  Thomas has missed four games. Hornacek said that an MRI, on the ankle, was negative and that Thomas might play Friday against Dallas.

Phoenix finished the game shooting 50 percent from the field (43-86); they scored 12 three-pointers (12-25).

The Suns have won 25 straight games since the start of last season when shooting at least 50 percent from the field.
