“The 2018 Coachella lineup is out, and this year a bunch of Latino artists are hitting the stage. And all these artists come from very different genres, backgrounds, and styles, making the two weekends of the festival – April 13 and 20 – a diverse affair.

Here are the Latino artists to keep an eye out for at the festival this year.

1. Cardi B

2017 has been Cardi B’s year, as she hit #1 on the Billboard chart with “Bodak Yellow,” and has made history over and over since then. There’s no doubt she’s going to bring that same heat to 2018.

2. Miguel

With his latest album, “War x Leisure,” Miguel’s music has taken a focus on the current times we are living in. it’s a mix of finding joy and living in the moment, while being socially and politically conscious.

3. Kali Uchis

Colombian-American singer, Kali Uchis, is bringing on the soul, pop and R&B vibes. You’ll be able to catch her mix of English, Spanish, and Spanglish songs on the Coachella stage.

4. Cuco

The Los Angeles native will be performing his alternative dream pop on the same stage as Miguel and Cardi B. If you’re into dreamy, romantic ballads, you’ll definitely want to check him out.

5. Helado Negro

Ecuadorian-American artist, Helado Negro, expresses his Latin pride through chill, electronic waves.

6. Los Ángeles Azules

You might know this ’80s Cumbia group for their hit song, “Cómo Te Voy A Olvidar.” If you want to shake your hips, make sure to hit their set.

7. Princess Nokia

This feminist Afro-Latina is bold and unapologetic with her music. Shedding light on social issues such as male domination, gentrification ,and body image, Princess Nokia delivers a powerful punch, and that’s what fans love about her

8. Deorro

Mexican-American Erick Orroquiesta, also known by his stage name Deorro, is an EDM producer and DJ. From producing music at 17 years old, this LA native will be getting the crowds jumping.

9. The Marías

This Indie group consists of Josh and María, who began to collaborate and create music in 2016. For a mix of psychedelic soul and jazz, stop by their set and get your groove on.

10. Ibeyi

Ibeyi is made up of twin sisters, Lisa-Kaindé and Noaomi Díaz, who take pride in their French-Cuban culture. You can’t miss this group’s mix of electronic and jazz. You’d be silly if you did.

11. Señor Kino

This surf punk band from Sonora, Mexico, is all about fun and upbeat vibes. Their mix of instruments, such as the electric guitar, ukulele, piano, drums and tambourine, are what keep the tempo of their songs super energetic. It’ll be a fun set!

12. Buscabulla

The duo of Raquel Berrios and Luis Alfredo Del Valle are known for their mix of funk, R&B, and electronic. Which definitely means lots of dancing.”
